Posted in Children and Babies, Portraits, Random on January 11th, 2010 by Courtney – Be the first to commentPhotography isn’t just for weddings! I thought I’d show you these photos from Lucinda’s Sip N’ See (as in “come sip on some cocktails and see my new granddaughter”) from last October.
Before the party started we went outside and got some nice natural light portraits of the 4 generations.

Also, a quick picture of Lucinda’s day care buddy Alec and their moms.

Lucinda did sleep through the beginning of the party, but she was still a hit!

When she woke up she got tons of attention and smiles.

Olivia & Brian's Engagement Session at Sandy Creek Park
Posted in Engagement, Portraits on January 9th, 2010 by Courtney – 1 CommentOlivia & Brian have four dogs and like most of us dog owners know, they are part of the family. Before heading out to Sandy Creek Park we took a few photos of the whole family! Here is my favorite one.
I took these photos last week on a cold, clear day so before hitting the water Brian and Olivia wrapped themselves in a quilt and snuggled together. Love warms us all!

Olivia & Brian win the most creative idea for engagement photos. They have a canoe and are outdoor people, so they asked if I could take photos of them on the water. Of course I agreed!

Alaina & Nicholas' Engagement Session at Stone Mountain Park
Posted in Engagement, Portraits on January 7th, 2010 by Courtney – 2 CommentsHello Everyone! I hope you had a great holiday season, and got to spend time with your friends, family and loved ones. I had a great holiday, which can be seen by my total lack of blogging! I’m back and ready for 2010 to be the best year yet, so keep your eyes open for more frequent blog posts by me. Plus, I’ve been working hard on the new web site and expect it to be up and running any time now!
Alaina & Nicholas got engaged during the Christmas season last year, so they wanted to have their engagement photos taken at Stone Mountain Park while all of the Christmas decorations were up. It was a cold day, but we braved it and enjoyed seeing so many families in the Christmas spirit. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the day.
We went into the store for a few minutes for some cute photo ops and to warm up a little too! The hat Alaina is wearing says, “kiss me.”
Like kids on Christmas morning!

Love the twinkly lights in the background.

And of course, a photo with Stone Mountain’s famous carving.

Congratulations Alaina & Nicholas! I can’t wait to photograph the wedding.
