Heather and Austin held their reception at Trump’s Catering‘s downtown venue, The Grand Ballroom and The Palm Room of the historic Georgian. David Osborne of Sound Insights was responsible for the lighted monogram (the first photo below), the creative uplighting, and of course the entertainment! The table arrangements were provided by European Floral Design. And finally, the cake was baked by Cecelia Villaveces Cakes. After Heather and Austin’s departure from the reception we walked around downtown and took a few night photos.  Here are some of my favorites.

Heather and the girls got ready at The Hampton Inn on Atlanta Highway, while Austin and his guys hung out at Walker’s in downtown Athens. Austin surprised Heather by setting up their first look on the same corner in Downtown Athens where he proposed! We took wedding party photos in Downtown Athens, then headed to The Day Chapel at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia for their ceremony. The flowers were designed by Maggie at European Floral Design. I’ll show the reception photos in the next post.

This past September I attended a Trumps Catering Tasting as a guest vendor.  I’m going to be at their next tasting in March too! I took some photos of their delicious – and artfully presented – food to share with you. If you are interested in having Trumps cater your wedding and/or would like an invitation to the tasting on March 11th, contact Andree and tell her I sent you!

The cakes are always so beautiful… and delicious too!  The only reason there were “sheet cakes” was for easy cutting, sharing, and tasting! Check out their cake page to see many of the cakes Susan has designed, as well as the flavors offered!

Potato Bar: including Potato Puffs (Sweet and Regular), Re-Stuffed New Potatoes, and Hash Brown Casserole.

Everyone at Trumps is professional and very sweet!

Megan and Brett are getting married this July at the UGA chapel, with their reception at The Thompson House and Gardens. We took their engagement photos at a private residence in Athens.  The owners of this home have created a stunning garden, including chicken coops, ducks, koi ponds, seating areas, and an array of vegetation. It was a great spot for our session!  Here are some of my favorite photos.

Caroline and Stephen’s Wedding at Northside United Methodist Church and Reception at Capital City Country Club in Brookhaven. Kristina Ortiz at My Bride Idea was the coordinator. Luann Fite designed the flowers and Frosted Pumpkin provided the cake. The Atlanta Beat Band rocked the reception!  Here are some of my favorite photos of the day.

Keri and Brad were married this past fall at a private residence in Alpharetta. A Divine Event catered the event, and the stunning flowers were provided by Pam Holley of Design House of Flowers and Events.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Mindy and Adam were married this past September at Little Gardens in Lawrenceville, GA. It’s a beautiful venue, and I’m looking forward to photographing another wedding there in a few months. What’s even more exciting is that since Mindy’s wedding, her sister Julie got engaged, and I’m photographing her wedding next month!
