Kaysie and Kelsy's Red and Black themed wedding was beautiful. The ceremony was held at The UGA Chapel and officiated by Don Randall of Sacred Ceremonies. The ceremony was followed by a reception at The Foundry Park Inn who also provided the linens, catering, and the cake baked by Cecelia Villaveces. For those of you keeping track, I'm doing my best to catch up on all of my blog posts, so that I can post more recent photographs. I'm also trying to let the photos speak for themselves and not write too much, since my talent is not in writing! I'm going to combine catching up with keeping current (and keeping quiet!) They got ready in their home, then we went to Collins Hill Park to take some portraits. Their ceremony was held at St. Marguerite D'Youville, after which they had a reception at the most delicious Maggiano's at Perimeter. Jessica and Jared were married this past November at The Old Courthouse on the Square in Decatur, GA. The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony. This wedding was so full of colorful DIY pieces! The wedding party started in black for the ceremony, but while The bride and groom and I took a quick trip over to Agnes Scott campus for a few portraits, they changed into colorful matching outfits! The Lake Club at Reynolds Plantation Wedding Oconee Courtney Goldman Photography (26)

Courtney and Brent were married at The Lake Club in Reynolds Plantation, overlooking Lake Oconee. It would be an understatement to say that this group was both fun and fabulous! After getting ready at Courtney's father's house, the girls (plus dad) took a boat across the lake to get to the ceremony and reception location! Everything about this wedding was amazing, but be sure to check out the bouquet and garter tosses at the end. They were epic!Nancy at No Regrets Events planned and coordinated the wedding, the stunning flowers were designed by Gardenia Floral Designs. The cake was baked by Cake Designs by Debra, who also stays at the wedding and cuts and serves the cake! Please note that the gorgeous cake not only matches Courtney's dress, it was heavenly. The flavors were Chocolate Pistachio, Red Velvet, Grand Marnier, and Lemon. YUM!!! Goodwin Rentals provided the bamboo chairs for the ceremony. DJ Joel McGuire of Avalanche Entertainment provided the entertainment. The Lake Club catered.

Heather and Austin held their reception at Trump's Catering's downtown venue, The Grand Ballroom and The Palm Room of the historic Georgian. David Osborne of Sound Insights was responsible for the lighted monogram (the first photo below), the creative uplighting, and of course the entertainment! The table arrangements were provided by European Floral Design. And finally, the cake was baked by Cecelia Villaveces Cakes. After Heather and Austin's departure from the reception we walked around downtown and took a few night photos. Here are some of my favorites.

Heather and the girls got ready at The Hampton Inn on Atlanta Highway, while Austin and his guys hung out at Walker's in downtown Athens. Austin surprised Heather by setting up their first look on the same corner in Downtown Athens where he proposed! We took wedding party photos in Downtown Athens, then headed to The Day Chapel at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia for their ceremony. The flowers were designed by Maggie at European Floral Design. I'll show the reception photos in the next post.

This past September I attended a Trumps Catering Tasting as a guest vendor. I'm going to be at their next tasting in March too! I took some photos of their delicious - and artfully presented - food to share with you. The only reason there were "sheet cakes" was for easy cutting, sharing, and tasting! Megan and Brett are getting married this July at the UGA chapel, with their reception at The Thompson House and Gardens. We took their engagement photos at a private residence in Athens. The owners of this home have created a stunning garden, including chicken coops, ducks, koi ponds, seating areas, and an array of vegetation. It was a great spot for our session!
