It was freezing cold on the afternoon of Maggie and Hubert's engagement session at Marietta Square. It was so cold that Hubert's sister who had came along for the session decided after only 2 or 3 minutes that she'd rather just sit in the car! Luckily, Maggie and Hubert were great sports about the cold - especially after I told them it was a great excuse to get close and cuddly. Their photos turned out beautifully, you'd never know I had them sitting on freezing cold stairs or leaning up against a frozen marble wall. We did take a few opportunities to go inside and warm up, including at Rocket Fizz, which turned out to be super colorful and great for some fun photos!Do you need engagement photos? Contact me now!
Holly and Todd's Engagement Session at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens
Last summer I met Holly and Todd at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens for their engagement session. We had such a fun time. I can't remember the last time I've laughed so much! I met Wendy at The Athens Wedding Professionals Bridal Show in January, and I'm so glad I did! Maggie & Ware's Engagement Session at Serenbe in Palmetto, GA
Anyone who follows my blog knows that I usually only pick a few favorites to show. This post will be an exception to the rule! I just couldn't narrow my selections down any further. Maggie and Ware were so much fun to work with. They are getting married out of state this summer, but wanted an engagement session locally and I'm so glad they called me! Serenbe was a great choice for an engagement session as it provides such a beautiful backdrop.
Rachel and Robert's Engagement Session at The Athens Botanical Gardens
I met Rachel and Robert at a Trump's Catering Tasting last fall. I'm going to be at the one this spring too! Katie and Walker's Engagement Session at a private residence in Atlanta, Georgia
Katie was a bridesmaid at Caroline and Stephen's wedding in the Fall of 2011. This summer, she is going to be the bride when she marries Walker at Holy Spirit Catholic Church! I met up with Katie and Walker on a warm day this past fall at Katie's grandparents' house for their engagement session. We walked around the property and took some sweet photos, and Katie didn't stop smiling for even a moment! It seems evident to me that Walker and Katie have a great time together. They say that opposites attract, and as you can see in the last two photos, at least some of this couple's interests are definitely opposite!

Christy caught the bouquet at Kristen and Charlie's wedding, and now she's getting married! I'm very excited to be photographing her wedding in August. Christy and Andrew met at UGA. They are both getting their masters in Statistics, so we started off the session with a few photos at and around the Statistics building. I photographed Jasmin and Ariel's engagement session at Piedmont Park back in June. We had such fun walking around the park, enjoying the weather and taking photos.Ariel brought all the accessories for a picnic at the park - reminiscent of when he proposed to Jasmin.He fed her some berries and they had some wine. Then he tried to feed her a nectarine and we were cracking up - not easy to make that look sexy!They are so cute together! And the Canadian geese were kind enough to walk around in the background for some nice park ambiance.Congrats Jasmin and Ariel!
