Thomas is 6 months old so we headed over to The State Botanical Garden of Georgia for some photos. Six months is such a fun age - Thomas was full of smiles. And William is such a proud big brother!

Melanie & Zach's reception was in The Conservatory at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens. A Divine Event was responsible for the delicious meal and the incredible decor including flower arrangements by Gardenia Floral Design.The Flavor Band provided the entertainment, but Melanie & Zach's family got on stage and helped out too!

Rachel and Robert's Engagement Session at The Athens Botanical Gardens

I met Rachel and Robert at a Trump's Catering Tasting last fall. I'm going to be at the one this spring too! I'd met Alex a few times when he used to work for Trumps Catering. I was so excited when I saw him at the Trumps tasting a year or so ago and he was with Casey - his fiancee, and they were looking for a photographer. I just knew we'd be a great fit. Here are some of my favorite photos from the first half of the wedding day.One of the most beautiful features of The Day Chapel is this door, and it was just the right spot for the photo of the gown. Of course, it looks even better on the beautiful bride!How can you not love this enthusiasm!?!?!This was Casey and Alex's favorite photo from the engagement session.So we did our best to recreate it from memory on the wedding day.Reception photos coming next!

Grace and Robert are getting married this weekend!  I'm looking forward to working with them - we had such fun at the engagement session.  I photographed their engagement session at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in April.  The weather was just gorgeous!  Here are a few of my favorites from the day.I love red Japanese Maples, so I had to start with some photos in front of this one.  It was just a bonus that Grace has the most beautiful red hair, making the tree an even better background!We went into the shade garden, one of the quietest parts of the garden.Grace looked great in her sundress.After a quick change of clothes we headed into the main part of the Garden.  Look at all that lush greenery!Congratulations Grace and Robert!  See you two on Saturday.

I had such a great time taking photos of two year old Eden at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Two is such a fun age. Eden was interested in exploring everything and each new experience put a smile on her face. Basically, her mom Casey and I followed her around the garden for an hour as she laughed and played! Here are some of my favorite photos from the session.Gotta love dipping your toes in a cold stream on a hot day!Eden and Casey having a picnic with Eden's favorite stuffed animals.  Did I mention that Casey is an awesome massage therapist?  I'm so excited to see her today to get a massage!  You should visit her too, and tell her I sent you - she'll take great care of you for a very reasonable price.  She owns Drift Massage Studio, and you can even schedule your appointments online!  OK, unsolicited plug over, back to the photos...Tickle monster!!This was Eden's flute - or maybe clarinet - love that innocent imagination.A quick outfit change and we are off to find the next adventure!Running around with mom is always fun!So cute!At this point Eden was done playing, done with photos, and ready for a nap.  But I couldn't resist a quick shot in front of these beautiful flowers.  A lovely end to a lovely session.

Keri Beth and Jonathan are getting married this summer at Watkinsville First Baptist Church, with their reception at The Georgian in downtown Athens.
