After the beautiful ceremony, Paula and Ray signed the certificate of marriage. I love that Paula's son is looking over Ray's shoulder as he signs his name. We also took a few family portraits. Next post - the reception!

Ashley and Tyler were married at The Wheeler House in Ball Ground, Georgia in September. They chose not to do a first look, so I photographed each of them separately with their families and their sides of the wedding party Prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony were the full group photos, then portraits of just the couple. Next post will be photos from the reception!I absolutely adored Ashley's hair style, with accents of baby's breath.

One of my favorite parts of a ceremony is the children involved. They are adorable whether they do everything right or do everything wrong! There were 8 children who walked down the aisle in this ceremony and they did an amazing job. Only a few tears were shed, and everyone made it to the front. I was quite impressed. And of course there was cuteness all around.Rachel and Alec's wedding was a lovely combination of a non-denominational ceremony with Jewish traditions. Both of Rachel's parents walked her down the aisle to the stunning floral chuppah. The parents of both the bride and groom stood with them as they exchanged rings. Rachel and Alec read the vows they'd written to one another, after which Alec stomped on and broke the glass. Obviously the ceremony was sealed with a kiss!

Nhan-Ai & Jonathan's Wedding at The Old Courthouse on the Square in Decatur, GA
It seems like a good time to blog Nhan-Ai and Jonathan's wedding for two reasons. First, I just moved to Decatur, which is where the Old Courthouse on the Square is located. Second, I'm feeling quite reminiscent of the beautiful spring weather they had! I'm so tired of all the rain. Jennifer & Ryan's Wedding Reception at Wahoo! Grill in Decatur, Georgia
After their short and sweet ceremony (seriously sweet - there was a poem about penguins!) I took some photos of the newlyweds. We took advantage of the awesome sign on the wall for the tattoo shop next door.Then Jennifer and Ryan had a few appetizers before joining the family at the reception.Just because the invitation list was small does not mean that Jennifer did not pay attention to her wedding details. The flowers were so bright and colorful. There were quite a few different arrangements on the table, all in fun colored vases. Each guest had a place card being held by the cutest little porcupine's you've ever seen. (She even made one for me!) There were also Lindt chocolates and personalized koozies for the guests to bring home.Jennifer and Ryan love to play cornhole, so they set up a game for everyone to play during cocktail hour. It took a little encouragement to get them going, but once they started to play everyone had a great time!Jennifer's sister was a shoe in to catch the bouquet. Katie and Walker's Wedding Reception was held at The Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta, GA. It's an elegant ballroom that was perfect for Katie and Walker's style. The Piedmont Driving Club provided the cake and did the catering, Chelsea Floral and Event Designs provided the flowers, and The Neons provided the entertainment. This was such a sweet moment - Katie and Walker were practicing for their first dance while their guests were outside enjoying the cocktail hour.

Kate and Walker had a traditional Catholic ceremony, including the celebration of the Eucharist, which is central to the Catholic faith. They lit the unity candle, which represents the couple's lives as separate individuals, and symbolizes the union of their two hearts and lives into one. Katie Getting Ready for her Wedding Ceremony at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta, GA
Katie and her bridesmaids started getting ready at her family's house. Once everyone's hair and makeup was done, and the bridesmaids were in their dresses, they took a limo over to the church to get Katie into her dress and ready to walk down the aisle. The bride's room at Holy Spirit Catholic Church is very special to Katie's family. The stained glass window in the photos below was given by Katie's parents as a gift to their parents (Katie's grandparents), and they had it placed in the bride's room in hopes that one day one of their daughters would get married in their church. And of course, it did!

Nicole and Scott's Wedding Reception was held in The Silverbell Pavilion at The Emory Conference Center in Atlanta. The couple knew that they were going to want to take advantage of the gorgeous setting, and luckily the beautiful weather too, so they built in some time between the ceremony and reception for portraits. I took some photos of Nicole and Scott, as well as some more family photos.Once the reception started, the dancing began! Alan Kneiter Orchestra provided live music - the standards, big band, and classic rock.

I photographed Ellen's wedding last summer, and now her brother Scott's wedding last month! Nicole and Scott got married at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Atlanta. As you'll see, Nicole has a smile that beams so brightly it's absolutely contagious. And Scott, well he lights up whenever they are together!I love this moment of excitement and joy when Nicole opened up the rings and showed them to her mom.Scott's Dad helped with the bow tie, after the groomsmen did their best with a you tube video!Scott and Nicole were each escorted down the aisle by both of their parents.Nicole and Scott allowed me to witness their first moments together as a married couple. Erin and Collin threw an amazing party!! I had such a great time, dancing along to the live band Shimmer, getting great shots of all the guests having a blast! After the announcements and special dances, Erin did something I hadn't seen before. They had Shimmer play a few great dance songs, and got the party started immediately! Of course everyone was hungry after that, so Shimmer played some dinner music while everyone ate. But that really set the mood for the rest of the night.
