Jennifer and Ryan got married a few weekends ago, and I'm very excited to show you their wedding images. When I was putting those photos together, I realized that I never blogged their engagement session from last October. So I'm going to start by showing you these great engagement session photos first. Yue came back from China to have her second baby - this time a girl! A few years ago I photographed her newborn son, Tyger. Here are some of my favorite photos from Yue's maternity session at The University of Georgia.Baby Tyger is so grown up!For the Chinese, a baby's 30th day is very important, so rather than doing the usual one week old newborn session, I photographed Viola when she was 30 days old. She's a big baby!We did a few Christmas photos too!

Carter is my precious across-the-street neighbor. He was so alert during our newborn session, and has been such a sweet, expressive baby ever since! Here are some of my favorites from his 6-month session.Sometimes the parents are the best prop!I mean, have you ever seen such a smile!! Melts my heart.

I worked with Vicky and her family almost two years ago for her grandson Miles' christening. I love to work with families over the course of time, I'm always amazed at how much the kids have grown and changed! I included a photo of Miles from the first session, as well as one of Leslie. Foundry Park Inn Wedding Downtown Athens UGA University of Georgia Courtney Goldman Photography Melting Point Athens

Ellen and Trevor were married this summer at The Foundry Park Inn in Athens, Georgia. The flowers were from Gardenia Floral. Sarah Ketchie played the harp during the ceremony. The reception was held at their music venue, The Melting Point. The Highballs performed, even letting Trevor and his brother get in on the action and sing "Twist & Shout!" The Foundry catered, and provided a cake by Cecilia's Cakes. Mary Ellen of Consultant's Unlimited brought it all together perfectly!Instead of just some favorite photos today, I decided to show their whole album! Enjoy.

Athens Georgia Dogs Pet Photography Mutt Strut Canine Rescue

On May 1st, I volunteered to be the official photographer at Athens Canine Rescue's Mutt Strut at Bishop Park in Athens, GA. It was such a fun afternoon! For a few hours, many of Athens' dogs (and their people, of course) gathered at Bishop Park to strut their stuff and raise money for ACR. I was introduced to Athens Canine Rescue by my friend Leah who is a volunteer and foster mom for the non-profit group. Being "owned" by two mutts myself, I appreciate all the work the volunteers do to save dogs in need! Anyway, here are some photos of adorable doggies who came to the event.The Birthday GirlThe gold medal winner of the Lap Dog contest, Murray! Baby Elliot is already 6 months old. I know that time flies when you are a parent, which is why I love to be able to document so many stages in children's lives! So far I've photographed Anna's Maternity session, Elliot's newborn photos, and now his 6 month old photos below - I hope to see him again in another 6 months!Elliot is so adorable - and had such great eye contact with the camera! I love his thigh rolls too...I thought it would be fun to compare a few photos from 6 months ago, because I swear he had the exact same expressions!!Look at those eyes!Elliot is just learning to sit up on his own - and he's proud! Plus, it looks like he's waving at me...He's still very happy rolling around on the floor - and he loves his toes!Lookin' like a big boy in his overalls.And my favorite photo of all. Dawn and Rick met in Athens, at NONA - New Orleans 'N Athens. They love to spend time riding on their motorcycles, so we thought that would be fun for some of the engagement photos. Then we walked around North Campus and got some more photos. Rick was a student at UGA, and shared lots of fun memories with us!This sun dial is in the Founder's Garden on UGA's campus. It's got such a sweet quote, "Grow Old Along with Me The Best is Yet To Be." Take a look at Dawn's beautiful, unique engagement ring! It's a yellow sapphire surrounded by diamonds. I'm looking forward to the wedding this weekend!
