I know I'm behind in blogging when... I just took this wonderful family's fall portraits again last week! While these photos are a year old, they are no less adorable. One Year Old Ayla Jane's Fall Family Session at Dudley Park in Athens Georgia
Casey and Alex got married at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia in Athens in the Fall of 2012. Two years later they added the absolutely adorable Ayla Jane to their family. And this past fall, when she was one year old, I took their family's photos at Dudley Park. She is seriously the cutest baby - and was determined to be grumpy the whole time! But not to worry, we captured every smile and I think her personality really shines through.I have to say that I LOVE the fall leaves in the background of these photos. I mean, they are just delicious - as is Ayla Jane!!Here's what Casey, Ayla Jane's mom, had to say about the session. "First, just let me say, you are a miracle worker. What beautiful photos of such an angry baby!! She was in a foul mood that day but you'd never know it! ... Another satisfied (and repeat) customer, Casey"

Carter's One Year Session on UGA Campus in Athens, GA
Carter turned one in December, and on a beautiful and mild winter day we went to the UGA campus for his one year session. He started off in some very snazzy formal attire, then had a few costume changes. (Check out his newborn and six month sessions too!)After hearing us call out his name over and over, trying to get him to look for some photos he gave us this pose, which says to me, "You want me to pose for you? Here, how's this? Got it? Ok, I'm on a mission here, leave me alone!"This was some experimental moss eating. Turns out it isn't as tasty as it looks. Such a handsome fella!
Fall Family Session in Athens, Georgia
These 4 kids were all so sweet, so well mannered, and so well behaved I wasn't quite sure what to do with them! Even the dog listened and looked at the camera! We had fun finding different spots for photos, with the red japanese maple being a favorite of course. Here are some of my favorites.
Daphne's Three Year Old Session in Downtown Athens GA
Daphne never fails to make me laugh. She's sweet and silly and very proud to be three years old. In fact, just about all I had to do to get this sweet girl to smile was to ask how old she is. She'd respond with a very enthusiastic THREE!!! I'll start you off with the silly photo. Enjoy!

8 week old Baby Guy
Hello blog followers, Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday and enjoyed spending time with your friends, family and loved ones.My first post of 2011 is of Baby Guy. Christina is a friend and a colleague in the wedding industry. Not only does she work with Consultants Unlimited, the best planners in town, she also sings with Athens A-Train Band and has the most amazing voice! (You may also know her as a real estate agent - this woman does it all!) I was thrilled to take some photos of her adorable baby boy Guy at 8 weeks old. I fell in love with his cheeks the moment I saw him. I know you will too! This was a favorite of mine from the session. There's something so cute about babies in "grown up" clothes. This sweater just made me smile. Here's the happy family. This rocking chair is special to Christina, so we thought it would be fun to take his photo in it as he grows up. I'm thinking he'll like it better next time - when he can sit up on his own!!Christmas is coming! And he was one sleepy santa.Congratulations Christina and Wade!www.CourtneyGoldman.com
