I wasn't the only one who thought this wedding was fantastic, the editors of Brides Atlanta thought so too! Brides Atlanta is the local magazine put out by the national magazine Brides. Harried and Josh, whose engagement photos are here, were married at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia. It was the last weekend in June, and it was HOT! We still managed to get some great (and quick!) photos outside before the ceremony began.I absolutely love the colorful flowers Harriet picked for the bouquets. I couldn't resist taking a photo of the rings on them.Apparently Harriet has won the "I love you more" contest by inscribing this message inside Josh's wedding band. Jackie and Greg's reception was held at a ballroom at The Foundry Park Inn.The First Dance.Enjoying a toast.And of course, the father-daughter dance.Jackie got these adorable favors on etsy. I just love them!Their beautiful rings.The flowers for the wedding were done by Gardenia Floral Design. They always make perfect arrangements that fit the couple just right!Jackie's friends were all hoping to catch that bouquet!Tony from EPO is a great DJ who keeps the party going from start to end! The Foundry Park Inn in Athens, GA is a fabulous venue for a wedding. They have a few ballrooms for your event in addition to the Hoyt House Pavillion, the Melting Point, and the Hoyt House private dining room. There is a spa for relaxation and getting ready for your big day and great rooms for you and your guests to stay in.Jackie & Greg's Rehearsal Dinner was held at the Hoyt House Pavillion and it was fabulous! I love it when a couple hires me for the rehearsal dinner in addition to their wedding. The rehearsal dinner is usually the closest of the couple's friends and family, including those who travelled to the wedding just for you! There are also some of the best toasts which make for perfect photo opportunities on this more casual evening before the wedding. My cousin Adam got married over Memorial Day weekend in Blue Ridge Georgia. We all love his beautiful and loving bride Rose! I was excited to have the chance to be their photographer. I'm always capturing such special moments for my clients and their families, and it was a moving experience to be able to capture those moments for my own family.On Friday afternoon we had a bridal luncheon for Rose. All the ladies wrote down two of our favorite recipes for Rose to start her a collection so that she and Adam can enjoy cooking together in their new home. I thought this was a fabulous idea, and I pitched in two recipes from my Italy trip in 2004 - including one for tiramisu! (We did it ahead of time, they sent the recipe cards in with the invitation.) Here are the ladies.Next we went to the rehearsal. The view at the wedding was just beautiful. I took these photos of Ann about an hour before the ceremony was to begin. The clouds were rolling in, but we were all keeping our fingers crossed.Ann with her flower girls and program attendants.Ann with her dad before the ceremony. They drove up to the site in this golf cart!The ceremony was beautiful.As you can see, the clouds were overhead and ominous, but it never rained! It turned out to be the perfect weather - the clouds and breeze kept us cool (and provided soft light for the photography) and we stayed dry.I love this photo. Angela and Robert's Reception was also held at the Church.This little girl took full advantage of the candy bars that decorated each table... there's some on her face and she has a whole bag full ready to take home!The getaway truck was decorated uniquely for the couple!After the wedding, Angela, Robert and I went to take some portraits at the park where Robert proposed. Angela and Robert were married at The Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch Georgia.Angela, with her beautiful flowers by Opal and Jr in Gainesville.Robert with his nephew, the ring bearer. This ship was in the lobby of the church!The flower girls were adorable.The groom sees his bride. So sweet!After Angela's Father had done his part in the ceremony, he was to take the flower girls and sit down. When he tried to hold their hands they cried, "but we aren't done!"
