Christy caught the bouquet at Kristen and Charlie's wedding, and now she's getting married! I'm very excited to be photographing her wedding in August. Christy and Andrew met at UGA. They are both getting their masters in Statistics, so we started off the session with a few photos at and around the Statistics building. Christy and Andrew are 'outdoorsy' type people, so they chose to do the rest of the session at Sandy Creek Park. Here are some favorites from the session.
Kelsey and Preston's Wedding Ceremony at Peachtree United Methodist Church and Reception at The Biltmore in Atlanta
Preston's sister and I were classmates in high school. She was so sweet when she highly recommended me to her brother's bride for their wedding! Kelsey and Preston were married at Peachtree United Methodist Church. To say that Kelsey was a stunning bride is an understatement! Besides being generally beautiful, she absolutely glowed when she was with Preston. Their reception was held at the gorgeous Biltmore in the Imperial Ballroom. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day - starting with the smiling faces of the bride and groom, taken just before the ceremony. All photos by Courtney Goldman - Atlanta Wedding Photographer
Aruna and Rajeev's Wedding at The Hindu Temple Society of Augusta in Georgia and the North Augusta Municipal Center in South Carolina
I had two Hindu ceremonies to photograph this year, and they were within 4 days of each other! Aruna and Rajeev were married in the morning at The Hindu Temple Society of Augusta in Georgia, then had an evening reception at the North Augusta Municipal Center in South Carolina. The precious little man on the left in the photo below is Aruna's son, and on the right is her nephew. The day started off with a ceremony for the groom, then the Barath - where Rajeev rode up to the Temple on a horse. There was plenty of dancing and celebrating!Aruna having her last minute finishing touches put on by the women in her family. The boys were bored by the ceremony - I love this shot! There was a change of wardrobe for the evening reception.Aruna and Rajeev's Friends and Family put on a great skit to some music!Congrats Aruna and Rajeev, thanks so much for having me as your Augusta Wedding Photographer!

McCree and Audrey's Family Portrait Session at the Duck Pond in Garden Hills
I really enjoy working with friends and their families as a photographer. I've known Brittany since we were kids, and now I'm taking portraits of her kids! These photos of Brittany's family were taken at the Duck Pond in Garden Hills in Atlanta. McCree is one year old - and he's so handsome! As one year olds go, he was very cooperative in having his photo taken. He was, of course, mostly interested in running around, playing with balls, and carrying around the chair I brought for him to sit on. (There's a photo of that below.) Audrey is almost 3, and she couldn't decide if she wanted to have her photo taken or if she was too shy for that. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.I just love this photo. I know it isn't your traditional "good picture" but to me it seems perfect. Audrey's skinned knees, her shy look, dad in the background, the american flag, and McCree is heading off in the other direction. It seems like such a "moment in time."If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!!!Yep - by some miracle these siblings sat together, arm in arm, looking at me - if only for a moment. Glad I caught it!If you'd like your family portraits taken by me, send me a note!

I worked with Vicky and her family almost two years ago for her grandson Miles' christening. I love to work with families over the course of time, I'm always amazed at how much the kids have grown and changed! I included a photo of Miles from the first session, as well as one of Leslie. Leslie and Greer are wearing the same dresses in the recent photo session as they did the first time, but switched! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites photos from the day. (Summer 2010)
Newborn Baby Ella at Athens Regional Medical Center and at home in Colbert, GA
I know Baby Ella's mom Mary Ellen from the wedding industry - she's an amazing planner and coordinator with Consultants Unlimited. She and her husband Jason welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world at Athens Regional on January 20th, and I was there just hours later to get some photographs of their first day with their daughter. At 3 hours old, she is the youngest newborn I've photographed to date! When Baby Ella was about two weeks old I went to her house to take some more photos. Here are some of my favorites. This hat was Ella's great grandfather's, and yes - that's a mouse on it!Congratulations Mary Ellen and Jason - can't wait to keep photographing Ella as she grows up!If you are interested in having me take newborn photos for you, send me a note!

"She is personable, fun and easy to work with"
I will never be able to thank Courtney enough for how wonderfully she's captured my wedding and also how pleasant it is to work with her before, during, and after the event! She is personable, fun, and easy to work with. My friends and family still rave about our wedding photos. I recommend her to anyone with children or getting married in the Athens and Atlanta areas. Actually, my friend who caught the bouquet at my wedding is now getting married and using Courtney Goldman for her wedding (due to my recommendation, my friend's perception of Courtney at my wedding, and the quality of my wedding's photos). I love my wedding photos, and it's thanks to Courtney Goldman's photography! Whenever I look at my pictures it never ceases to amaze me all the different special moments you captured. I'm tearing up from finding a full-length portrait of myself I don't remember noticing before (selfish, right? But I love it!). I just HAD to email you right this minute to say again how much I love our wedding photos. I am so happy for all the other couples that get to have you as part of their wedding day.
